EAR WE GO! Promoting better hearing with the safe removal of wax. Ear we go is a service offered by Fiona Roscoe RN DN ANP Msc Pgdip BSc(Hons). Fiona is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years nursing experience and has completed microsuction training at The Hearing Lab in Stockport.

Microsuction is a wax removal technique using a binocular operating microscope. This allows depth perception and magnification to look straight into the ear canal and a very fine, sterile suction device to remove the wax. Occasionally, other instruments are used to remove hard wax. The technique means that the clinician can always see what is happening and can avoid touching the side of the ear canal which makes the process more comfortable and safer than other procedures.

HIGH PEAK, STOCKPORT AREAS COVERED. Private appointments can be offered at GP surgeries, chemists, Warden controlled,Residential and Nursing homes or home visits. Fiona also offers appointments at Disley Podiatry Clinic. Appointments are available during the day, evening and weekends.
