Community Litter Pick

Disley Parish Council organises two community litter picks per year, one in the spring and one in the autumn.  Volunteers can either target an area of their chosing or join in with the general tidy up.   The Parish Council supplies litter grabbers, hi-vis jackets, gloves and bin bags. The “picks” are always well-attended and as well as giving the village a spruce up are fun community get-togethers.
