EV chargepoints
Disley Parish Council offers a 2-input public electric vehicle chargepoint at Disley Community Centre car park in the centre of the village.
The chargepoints have dedicated parking spaces and use Superfast 22 kW technology for quick charging. The EV ChargePoint at Disley Community Centre has recently switched software to MONTA. The new app can be downloaded as “Monta App” from Google Play or the App Store.
The cost of charging remains at a highly competitive 30p per kWh.
The installation of the chargepoints is part of the Parish Council’s on-going commitment to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality in Disley and was part-funded by an OZEV grant.
The Parish Council is in discussions with other organisations across the village to find suitable locations for further chargepoints.
