Julia is a vocalist who will sing songs from 1920s to present and from movies and musicals at events across the UK.
(March 2021) Until further notice, due to Covid-19 restrictions, Julia is available for bookings for care homes and hospitals and entertaining residents on Zoom, Skype or WhatsApp. Alternatively, clients can be entertained outdoors.
Julia would like to offer a free one hour performance (in care homes and hospitals only) so that you can consider whether she could make a difference to peoples’ daily lives.
When regulations allow, Julia will also be available for bookings at other venues and events e.g. hotels, village halls, weddings, birthday parties, garden parties, tea dances, etc.

Malt Disley is a family-run Micro Pub which Licensee Lauren Booth and her family opened at the end of June 2017. Micro Pubs are different from other pubs as they are a lot smaller in size and they promote a good beer with a good conversation ethos and no noisy and annoying jukeboxes or games machines.
Lauren has sourced many local suppliers of craft ales and there is also plenty of choice for the non-beer drinkers with an array of wines, gins, whiskeys and soft drinks available.
The Malt Disley is open daily from 4pm until 11pm Monday to Thursday, noon until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 10pm Sundays. Children are welcome until 6.00pm
Walkers and visitors to the village are welcome along with their four-legged companions who even have their own ‘Doggy Bar’ stocked with biscuits and water.
