Cheshire East Local Plan Site Allocations Consultation

Publication Draft Site Allocations and Development Policies Document consultation 19 August to 5pm on 30 September 2019.

Cheshire East Council has published the Site Allocations and Development Policies Document (SADPD) for consultation. The consultation provides he opportunity to comment on the SADPD before it is submitted to the Secretary of State for examination by a Planning Inspector.

The SADPD has been prepared to support the policies and proposals of the existing Local Plan Strategy by providing additional policy detail. It includes non-strategic planning policies and site allocations. This consultation is a formal stage in the preparation of the SADPD and is being carried out in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.

Full details of the consultation are set out in the Statement of Representations available HERE

Details of the Cheshire East Local Plan and how to submit comments are available on the Cheshire East website HERE

Hi Andrea, The Parish Council will be considering a response to the latest Cheshire East Local Plan SADPD consultation, and a revised statement, at the Council meeting on Thursday 12th September 2019. Given the importance of this consultation, it requires consideration by the full Council. The meeting starts at 7.30pm and is held at Disley Community Centre.

Residents are very welcome to attend Parish Council Meetings and there is Public Forum of 15 minutes at the beginning of each meeting when residents can address the Council with any issues they would like to raise. If you would like to speak in the Public Forum, I would be grateful if you could let me know, as it allows us to allocate time to ensure all public speakers can be heard.

Please be assured that the Parish Council will be responding to the consultation and issuing a revised statement following the September Council meeting.
