Based within Disley Primary School, Disley Under Fives is a preschool nursery providing childcare in a safe, friendly and nurturing playgroup environment for children aged between two to primary school age. It is open from 9:00am until 3:00pm Monday to Friday. BGPCThere is a nursery in the village, Blue Grass Purple Cow Nursery, which is based in the former Higher Disley Methodist Chapel on Buxton Old Road. Disley Primary School

The buildings have been extended and modernised to enable it to provide a wide curriculum for the children of the village up to the age of 11. Newtown PrimaryNewtown Primary School is a small community school situated in New Mills, close to the Cheshire border, drawing in pupils from both counties.
